Director of Prevention
Pathways of Central Ohio
Pathways of Central Ohio seeks a dynamic professional to lead its Prevention Department. The Director of Prevention's primary responsibilities involve direct supervision of the prevention staff and management of the program, which delivers services in school and community settings. The Director represents the agency on relevant committees and shares data with the community regarding unmet needs and advocates for needed services. Within the scope of work is engaging community partners, motivating community change, and participating on local coalitions. In addition, the Director provides direct service utilizing such curricula as Prime for Life, Project Alert, and LifeSkills. The Director is also responsible for grant writing, completing reports, and evaluating outcomes. The Prevention Department currently employs two other full-time staff and is certified as a Prevention Program by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services and the Ohio Department of Mental Health. Qualifications: BS/BA in social work, education, or social sciences required; registration, certification, and/or licensure to supervise prevention services (OCPS, LCDC, CCDC, LPC, LISW, CHES, or RN) required; three years work experience in the substance abuse prevention field or related prevention field required; three years direct supervisory experience required; experience with program budget development and oversight preferred; experience in program developnment/coordination and grant management preferred; computer proficiency required and experience with social media preferred. Adolescent and Prevention Services Manager

We are looking for an innovative, dynamic, and highly motivated leadres with a passion for prevention and experience in business development and program growth to direct day-to-day operations and expand our prevention and adolescent services. Major responsibilities include: supervision of clinical staff who provide direct services to adolescents and adults; provision of direction, development and coaching to staff; development and maintenance of financial targets and quality standards; representation of the organization in public forums; and expansion of prevention and adolescent programming as part of a strategic business plan. Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, with a minimum of five years experience of progressive responsibility in management. Prevention expertise, proven administrative experience in budgeting, planning, decision-making, and the ability to develop effective private/public partnerships are a must.
