Office of Criminal Justice Services announces grant solicitation

The Office of Criminal Justice Services released the solicitation for the FY 2016 Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) Grant Program on November 2, 2015. The purpose of the federal FVPSA program is to support the establishment, maintenance, and expansion of programs and projects: to prevent incidents of family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence; to provide immediate shelter, supportive services, and access to community-based programs for victims of family violence, domestic violence, or dating violence, and their dependents; and to provide specialized services for children exposed to family violence, domestic violence, or dating violence, underserved populations, and victims who are members of racial and ethnic minority populations. 

The Request for Proposal (RFP) is available at http://www.ocjs.ohio.gov/solicitations.stm. Applications must be completed and submitted by 5 p.m. on December 7, 2015. For information regarding eligibility and application requirements as well as instructions on how to apply please access the RFP.
