President Proposes Funding Boost for Opioid Treatment

In his FY 2017 budget, President Obama is recommending a $1.1 billion investment in opioid treatment initiatives. The funding includes initiatives to expand medication assisted treatment, as well as provide better evaluation of the effectiveness of medication assisted treatment.
