The National Federation of Independent Business/Ohio has announced its strong opposition to State Issue 3, the proposed Ohio Constitutional amendment to legalize marijuana. NFIB stated that "among the major concerns for small-business owners are the ability of potential employees to successfully pass a drug test, the creation of a monopolistic system that self-governs and taxes the industry and significant workplace safety issues that will arise at their businesses."

The association also announced its support for State Issue 2, which would prohibit constitutional amendments that create business monopolies in Ohio.

NFIB/Ohio is a membership association of more than 25,000 businesses within the state. The association's full announcement is available at http://www.nfib.com/article/nfibohio-opposes-issue-3-supports-issue-2-70639/#.VeiRUhoxW6M.email.
