The Addiction Sciences Division within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine is seeking multiple individuals to serve as a Community Intervention Facilitator in the HEALing Communities Study (HCS).

The Community Intervention Facilitator serves a key role in the HEALing Communities Study (HCS), a large, multi-site clinical trial funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) within the states of Ohio, KY, Mass and NY. The study will use community engaged methods to unite experts and community stakeholders to narrow service gaps with the goal of reducing opioid deaths by 40%. In Ohio, the study will be carried out across nineteen communities. TheCommunity Intervention Facilitator will be based in the community and will report to the Intervention Core Team at the University of Cincinnati. 

The Community Intervention Facilitator will provide technical support and assistance for Ohio counties participating in the HCS and serve as a resource and primary point of contact to specific counties and Technical Experts and assist them with identification and implementation of evidence based practices.

The Community Intervention Facilitator position is currently available in the following counties. Preference will be given to applicants that currently reside in or live in close proximity to the county for which they are applying for.
